Smart Track Footrest Rudder Control – Recreational w/Barrel Adjustor

Ergonomically designed, the two part Toe Pilot rudder control foot brace consists of a fixed lower half of foot rest providing solid bracing at all times, and a movable (hinged) toe piece which controls rudder operation. Each of this pair of Footrests comes fitted with a short length of cord that terminates in a cord/cable length barrel adjuster that allows you to fit to existing cables inside the cockpit. Does not come with a sufficient length of cable to attach to the rudder. Cockpit adjustment rods allow you to vary the distance to the footrests from the seat while seated in the kayak. These SmartTrack Recreational foot braces use lighter weight and lower cost plastic rails combined with the same Toe Pilot rudder controls found on the performance model so that instead of sliding your feet forward and back as with some other brands, your feet stay braced at all times no matter the rudder position. The upper Toe control pedals do the steering so your stability and balance are never compromised. Lets you maintain control while directing energy from your torso directly to your stroke. Paddling more efficiently means you can paddle longer. The Recreational Toe Pilot Foot Controls are often the preferred Foot Control for retrofitting Fishing Kayaks or other Sit-On-Top Kayaks where the rails need to be connected from the boat from the cockpit area to moulded inserts.
