This Flat Headed Countersunk stainless steel 10-32 machine screw is 7/8 inch long. It requires a standard Phillips Head driver Commonly used in kayaks for securing deck mounts (Cleats and saddles) that have a counter sunk recess on them. It will go into a recessed or moulded in inset nut, or through the deck into a nut on the underside of the deck (use a rubber backed stainless steel washer and a nyloc nut in this case) Note that this is an imperial thread so will not suit metric threaded nuts. The screw is also sometimes used in rudder foot controls. (Keepers Style as used by Perception Dagger and Wilderness systems) Normally it goes through the plastic rail and protrudes out the other side to stop the rail coming out from the metal slide. (Use a crown washer in this case). May also fit some rubber well nuts.
