Post-Mould Insert, 10-32 Best used to repair missing or corroded nuts moulded into the hull of a plastic kayak. Use of this kit assumes that you have non-leaking cavity in the deck of a plastic kayak where a deck fitting may be located. The cavity may be a result of improper moulding, lack of insert or where an original nut-sert has come out. If the cavity is leaking this kit will not solve the leak. This Post-Mould Insert Kit, includes a three 10-32 retrofit nut-serts, a 5mm hex head key and instructions. This is supplied by wilderness systems and will have the same thread as a lot of deck fittings from Wilderness Systems, Dagger, Perception, Mad River and other American brands (this is an imperial rather than metric thread system) so you may not need to swap out your existing screws.
