This 2 handle 10 inch Twist Lock Hatch is common on some early Perception kayaks, as well as Islander, Heritage brands and is a match to that found on Riot Kayaks models, and can be used as a replacement cover. Some models, including this Viking have two handles, some may have only 1. There is also a compatible version that has 3. This hatch works by seating a protruding tab on one side of the underneath of the cover under the rim, and closing the hatch. Twisting the locking handles 90 degrees secures the other side of lid holding the hatch tightly and securely closed. The locking handles fold flat holding them in position and makes the hatch flush to the rim. Comes with Foam Rim Gasket. Alternatively you can you this to add a twist-and-lock hatch to any flat place on your kayak’s deck (but you will need a large area!).
