This is a Replacement Dry Box for the Wilderness Systems Pungo Dashboard and Tarpon kayaks made 2019 and later. This box is supplied with kayaks that it fits into. The box fits securely in the recess provided for it and can be opened and closed whilst in position. This Dry box can also be removed for use off the kayak to carry phones and keys etc around safely near the water. The Wilderness Systems Pungo mounts the box on the removable dashboard that mounts on the cockpit coaming. The tarpon series mounts the box forward of the seat under and between your legs. Closing securely with a latch the O Ring seal provides a secure water proof container suitable for items requiring dryness or protection from sand etc. (electronics etc). Note Spare parts are not available from Wilderness systems for this box only a complete replacement. You may be able to source a new O ring from a third party but it is better to keep it in good condition and clear from sand etc. Normally replacements are due to leaving it behind in the carpark though.
