Sterisept Ready to Use has broad-spectrum bactericidal (incl. MRSA, VRE), mycobactericidal (incl. Mycobacterium avium and Mycobacterium terrae), fungicidal, and yeasticidal activity. It is also effective against viruses (incl. HBV, HIV, HCV, Vaccinia, Rota, Noro) and spores (incl. Clostridium difficile). Sterisept Ready to Use is also suitable for soaking and pre-disinfection of contaminated medical instruments. Pre-sterilization treatment of surgical instruments is an essential step in ensuring an effective and safe sterilization process. The procedure reduces microbial contamination and removes blood, tissue, and other organic residues from instruments. Sterisept Ready to Use is suitable for treating the following surfaces and instruments: stainless steel, glass, aluminum, copper, brass, ceramics, PVC, rubber, plastic, silicone, leather surfaces, as well as acrylic and plexiglass. USAGE Sterisept Ready to Use is a ready-to-use product. Apply to the surface so that the entire area is evenly covered with the disinfectant. Minimum contact time is 60 seconds or according to efficacy against different microorganisms (see table below). The product can be applied either by spraying or by wiping with an impregnated cloth. Spraying is recommended only for hard-to-reach areas. Spray onto the surface from a distance of approx. 30 cm and then spread evenly with a cloth. For wiping, moisten a nonwoven cloth with a sufficient amount of product and wipe the surface. After the contact time has elapsed, residues of the disinfectant must be removed with a damp cloth from surfaces and instruments that will subsequently come into contact with humans or food. Pre-sterilization treatment of surgical instruments: To prevent contamination and drying of organic residues, spray the used instruments collected in a suitable container with Sterisept Ready to Use so that all instruments are properly moistened. Then continue the sterilization process according to the instrument manufacturer’s instructions. MICROORGANISM – TEST METHOD – CONTACT TIME Bacteria (incl.
