The Surge Kayak light duty cable lock secures your kayak or canoe to your vehicle. Simply put the loop end through a secure place on your canoe/kayak (e.g. Security bar or though a scupper hole etc.), and wrap around your roof rack. Then put the ball end through the loop and pull the cable to give yourself a tail. Then either open your trunk or door and carefully put the tail with the ball on it inside your vehicle, finally close trunk or door and lock your vehicle. The Ball stops the cable from pulling though the door or boot lid and your vehicles door locks provide the security making it easy and quick to use with no need for extra keys etc to lose. Alternatively a separate padlock can be used to secure the cable around your roofrack, or if your kayaks not on the car when you’re our and about camping etc. around a post or tree.
