Wave Sport Whiteout Thigh Pad Cover- included pine tree rivets

Wave Sport Whiteout Thigh pad.  This is the cover that goes over the Plastic Thigh brace (Hooks) on Wavesport white water kayaks. Comes with 2 plastic Xmas Tree rivets to secure them tot he solid plastic braces Comes with a white marine vinyl face to make keeping clean easier. – may (or may not) suit some other older kayaks with similar thigh hooks. Includes: 2 x Cover pads (left and right) 2 x Plastic push rivets to secure to the thigh brace   Installation Step One Unistall the thigh braces.   Wavesport Thigh Brace Installation instructions (images in photos) Uninstall your current thigh pads Remove the screws on both the inside wing and outside the cockpit rim (Note: the slider nut/plate on the outside cockpit screw will fall out of the thigh brace. Keep track of this as well as the screws; they will be used again). (Figures 4a & 4b) Use a pair of needle nose pliers or specialised tool or fingers to remove the plastic push rivets on the thigh pad. (Figure 4c) Remove the pad, sliding the thigh brace out of the large opening. Repeat for opposite side. Install your new thigh pads Slide the new thigh pad onto the thigh brace, using the large slit in the thigh pad. (Figure 8a) Adjust so the front mounting holes and slot are visible through the openings in the pad. (Figure 8b) Secure pad to thigh brace using a new plastic push rivet. (Figure 8c) Place the square slider nut/plate inside the long track from the bottom side of the thigh brace and fasten with the outside cockpit screw. (Figure 8d) Install previous screw at the cockpit wing. (Figure 8e) Repeat for opposite side.
