Ironman 4x4 Atlas platform racks are constructed from extruded aluminum beams mounted within an extruded aluminum perimeter. The racks are designed so that the beams are perpendicular to the vehicle (side to side, not front to rear). This arrangement makes loading and securing cargo easier, with a much lower chance of longer items falling down and hitting the roof.
