The Harmony/Mad River 41″ replacement cane canoe seat from Mad River Canoe. Can be used for most brands of canoe that take wood outfitting. Typically used as a centre seat due to the width. Traditional flat ash framed seat with cane insert is lightweight and comfortable and does not hold or absorb water. Found standard on many Mad River Triple Tough, Royalex and composite canoes with wood, IQ2, or aluminum gunwales. 9.5″ x 41″ long. Can be cut to size as required, however the cane section of the seat is wide limiting how narrow the seat can be cut. The narrowest this seat can be trimmed is 53cm (approx). This cane and wood seat is typically best suited to use as adding a centre seat or as the front seat in a wide canoe- typically it can not be cut narrow enough for a stern/rear seat pad Also available as a wood and webbing version, narrower seats are also available for front or rear
